Our goal is to help places work better for peoples’ lives, livelihoods and for nature. We approach this with humble confidence and a balance of creativity, purpose and respect.
Creativity
We are passionate about design and adopting a design-led approach in everything that we do. This means threading creativity and innovation through every step of our projects, from inception through to delivery. We align with the values of the Design Council UK, recognising the opportunity for good design to solve challenges and change peoples’ lives, our natural world and the planet, for the better.
Purpose
We believe places must work for people, in balance with nature and the environment. This is the foundational purpose of all our work. As such, we seek to instil a sense of ownership and collective responsibility through our approach to all our projects, understanding that we can only maximise our shared impact if people are engaged and inspired to care for, curate and celebrate their local places in the future.
Respect
It is our privilege to work for places, on behalf of and alongside other inspirational place leaders. This is something that we never take for granted. However, we also recognise our role to offer constructive challenge and reframe perspectives, asking the tough questions where necessary, bringing insights from our own experience and expertise. We will always do this with a balance of confidence, humility and respect.
